It is with great excitement that we announce Illawonga Camp is re-opening in TERM 4 this year, 2023. The closure of the camp due to flooding in late 2022 was very difficult, and although the buildings remained untouched by the floods, the river bank was certainly underwater and it made it too difficult to operate camps.

Commencing in July 2023, Illawonga Camp is under new management by Beyond the Classroom. The property will undergo renovations, new itineraries will be launched, and a range of new experiences developed for the property and region.
